Quality Control Music was a lesser known record label based in Atlanta. They represented some of the most well known Hip Hop Artists at the moment: Quavo, Offset, Takeoff, Lil Yachty, and Lil Baby (all who collectively accumulated eighteen TOP 10 HITS in the charts). Each of these artists has a powerful personality, distinct style, and unique trajectory, but at the same time, they were a part of a collective that many fans were not cognizant of.
To remove this blind-spot in the brand knowledge of Quality Control’s impressive roster of talent, our approach was to establish a degree of uniformity. We utilized a black and white palette in order to strip away the traditional excessive pageantry that the music industry tends to solicit. The artists were styled in an all black wardrobe, with individual fashion tastes and unique flair gleaming, driving home the underlying message that, together, they belong to a unified and powerful force.
Quality Control’s CEO + COO, Pierre ‘Pee’ Thomas and Kevin ‘Coach K’ Lee, and headline acts have recently featured in a variety of notable publications from New York Times, Billboard, Rolling Stone Magazine, to Hip Hops highly coveted cover of THE SOURCE MAGAZINE.
They have expended their fan based exponentially, developed healthy brand loyalty, created extensive desire for the $40,000 QC gold and diamond medallion that is bestowed upon newly signed acts, and recently signed Cardi B to a management deal, and increased their networth to $50 million.
